Marjorie, as the Executive Administrative Assistant became an integral part of the Center, its programs and service to the Japanese American community. Her retirement from HUD led her to a second career with the Japanese Community Cultural Center of Northern California (JCCCNC). She was overseeing the computer operators for many western states including Hawaii. Her accomplishments and eventual position as the Director of Information Systems for HUD were unprecedented.
